2nd October is Go Dotty Day, a national day to recognise the need for bereavement support for parents after the death of a child.

On 2nd October (or any other time in October), host an event with friends, family or colleagues, or set yourself a personal challenge to raise money for Ladybird Care Foundation's Peer Mentor Program - a program offering one-on-one support from others who have walked a similar path.

If you can’t participate this year, you can still change lives by making a tax-deductible donation by clicking the “Donate” button at the top of the page.

Ways you can fundraise and raise money for Go Dotty Day

Host an Event
Get together with friends, family or colleagues and host an event such as a morning tea at your workplace, a BBQ with loved ones, a music concert, a craft day, a cake decorating competition, the choices are endless!

Challenge Yourself!
If hosting an event isn’t your style, why not set yourself a personal challenge instead? Kick it off on Go Dotty Day and keep it going throughout October. It could be fitness-focused, like aiming for 10,000 steps a day, or something different, such as giving up a favourite treat for the month, or wearing dotty clothes for a week.
